Release the body alarm

Fear lives in the body, not only in thoughts. If your muscles stay tense, your brain keeps receiving danger signals. Move through the drop sequence one step at a time.

Drop your shoulders.

Take a slow out-breath as you do it. No straining — just letting go.

Quick body trick

If you feel floaty or unreal, press your toes into your shoes and notice the pressure. Grounding through the feet is often easier than trying to think your way calm.
